Event Info

Join us for a Family Day inspired by David C. Driskell and Friends: Creativity, Collaboration, and Friendship. Learn about printmaking with printmaking collective Grafica Nocturna, create collage artworks with artist Richard Allen May III, join in on dance workshops led by UCR Gluck Fellows of the Arts, and explore the galleries as a family with our scavenger hunts! Finally, settle in for a free screening of Disney and Pixar’s Soul (limited availability – reserve your free ticket here). After the event, venture outside to enjoy Festival of Lights in downtown Riverside!


1:00-4:00pm – Art activities and scavenger hunts!

1:00-1:30pm – Storytime with Inlandia Institute

1:30pm – Collective Movement Workshop with Sur Sanford, UCR Gluck Fellow and Ph.D. student in Critical Dance Studies

2:00pm – Family Tour with Sarah Faulk

2:30pm – “I like to Move it, Move it!” dance party with Pannaga Jois, UCR Gluck Fellow and Ph.D. student in Critical Dance Studies

3:00pm – Free screening of Disney and Pixar’s Soul
