Service Animals
Trained service animals are welcome. Following the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals are dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Emotional support or therapy animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and unfortunately, are not allowed in the museum.
Wheelchairs
The closest City garage with wheelchair-accessible parking is Mission Square Garage (at the corner of 9th and Market). The ramp exits onto Main and our entrance is immediately across from it. Check current parking rates before parking.
Our entrances, galleries, theater, screening room, and restrooms are all wheelchair accessible. The Culver Center Screening Room includes wheelchair locations and companion seats. Additionally, the Culver Center Screening Room has a vertical platform lift to help you enter the screening room (otherwise you must use a staircase with a handrail). Elevators are located throughout the building. We do not offer wheelchair loans.
