Workshop: Storytelling Through Photography
Discover how to communicate meaning through images. This workshop blends artistic expression with a foundational understanding of photographic principles and techniques—like light, color, and focal length—and the industry standards that support visual storytelling. Through guided activities and examples, students will reflect on how photographers use visual tools to tell powerful stories. Plus, with a post-visit assignment, their work could be featured in the student exhibition at the California Museum of Photography.
Level: Intermediate to advanced
Duration: 1.5 hours
Offered: October to January
