Synchrodogs is a duo from Ukraine, Roman Noven and Tania Shcheglova. The pair has been making collaborative art since 2008. These four pieces are drawn from a new AI project, Overture. The images are made using neural networks that draw solely on a 15-year archive of photographs made by Noven and Shcheglova. The goal, states Synchrodogs, is to explore the tension between man and nature, the balance between the real and the imagined, to draw the viewer into “an unconscious, wild, and dreamlike world.”
