John Divola uses AI tools to generate images. There are a range of subjects, but everyday animals dominate—cows, rabbits, dogs.  He installs the resulting large AI prints in abandoned buildings at the George Air Force Base housing tract in Victorville, CA.  The base has been decommissioned and abandoned since 1992. Often colored flash is integrated with the available light to illuminate these spaces.  No one is expected to view the installations, the photographs are the intended final works.
