Barry McNaughton (b. 1977)

Similarly to how the objects in the Ansel Adams picture layer on top of one another to create a texture of straight lines and spheres against the backdrop of the sky, this composition experiments with sonic texture through the constant fading (in and out) of sounds. Sometimes obscuring, and at other times highlighting, this piece is not organized to any fixed grid, but rather unfolds in its own time and space.
