Electro Brain
Aaliyah Ragland (b. 2002)
Electro Brain was created in Ableton Live 12, a software with many tools to create and design instruments and sounds. This piece uses several common instruments such as a snare drum, kick drum, electric guitar, and even a string section which includes violins and cellos. These instruments were carefully edited to create an electric and groovy experience, inspired by a photo of a lady receiving a brain scan taken by Ansel Adams.
