i miss this

Malcolm Mullins (b. 2004)

My composition, i miss this, was heavily inspired by the artist i don’t like mirrors. Their music collection is characterized by slow acoustic passages that evoke nostalgia and emotional distress, such as regret, depression, grief, or longing. I adopt these traits in my music by incorporating vintage effects, acoustic instruments, and clips of children playing to portray longing for childhood or simpler days. Just like i don’t like mirrors, I chose to have my title lowercased to give it intimacy, as it is reminiscent of a casual setting between people.
