During the opening reception, Takeshi Kanemura will perform Integrated Performance Art: Transformation Sustains Society in the gallery. Kanemura's performance will use his body to narrate of a typical immigrant's experience. Fusing modern dance and traditional Butoh styles, the movements will show the transformation of an original body into a hybrid one to illustrate how individual activity collectively affects society.
